How to Begin
Guests are always welcome to attend, free of charge, and observe how Toastmasters works before making a commitment. You will have an opportunity to introduce yourself to the group, but will not be expected to do anything scary as a visitor. After you become a member, you can decide how quickly you want to proceed to giving your first speech (The Icebreaker) or participating in Table Topics, our impromptu speaking challenge. You can also learn our routine by filling supporting roles like Timer or Vote Counter.
Visit as many times as you like!
All Clubs in Toastmasters have a unique personality and diverse culture. This is what makes each Toastmasters Club special, and what sets Club’s apart. We do recommend to all our visitors to come along more than once, as the meeting will differ each time you visit. You can visit as many times as you like at no charge to you!
Be welcomed by our friendly members!
We welcome all new visitors and guests. Typically, you will be introduced to all members at the beginning of the meeting. We encourage everyone (including members, guests and visitors) to ask questions throughout the meeting. At the end of the meeting you will be given an opportunity to provide feedback.
Join our Club!
There is no pressure at all for you to join our club, but in order to get the most benefit out of Toastmasters you will need to become a member. Once you have been voted in by the existing membership, we will send your membership application form, and fees to Toastmasters International. This is generally done immediately. Toastmasters International will assign you a member number, and provide you with the New Member Kit (which includes the Ice Breaker project and instructions on how to get started on Pathways).
